Who we are

What we collect and why

When you use the quote form, we get your name, your phone number and/or email address, your address (so we can come and look at the job), the service you're asking about and your message. The form also tells us which page of the site you sent it from. We only use those details to reply to you, give you a quote, and do the work if you go ahead. The legal basis for that is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.

If you ring, text or email us directly, we use your details in the same way.

Who else sees them

The website and the quote form are run for us by DraxIQ, a web company in Southport. Messages from the form are sent to us by email through Brevo, an email delivery service. Neither of them uses your details for anything except getting your message to us. We never sell your details or pass them on for marketing.

How long we keep them

If an enquiry doesn't turn into a job, we delete it within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep your contact details and job records for as long as we need them for our accounts, normally up to six years.

Cookies

This website doesn't use cookies or any tracking. The web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for a short time for security.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Just get in touch using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
